Valerie and Kelly are two farmers, turned flower growers.
A desire for remembering provenance and seasonality is what matters.
Growing, cutting and arranging from our family farm and collaborating with fellow Scottish and UK growers.
Frequently found in wellies, amongst livestock, tending flowers, compost behind our nails.
The Story
Blooming Bees was established at Wardmill Farm in 2014 by Kelly Orr, growing fresh seasonal flowers for florists, flower clubs, weddings, events and DIY flower enthusiasts.
Valerie Orr joined in 2020 after moving to Scotland from Northern Ireland. There Valerie had established a successful flower farm and now after her move the flowery journey continues.
With a clan of mini flower farmers between us we find two heads are better than one to keep supplying fresh, seasonal, beautiful blooms to the County of Angus and beyond.
In 2022 we launched our wholesale side of the business sharing our seasonal, Scottish grown flowers with florists, designers and local retailers. Find out more here
